Cocoon Agency Fees

We are an introductory agency and charge a fee for our Service. We pride ourselves on providing a personable service and are unable to send out any applicants unless you have registered with our Agency and agree to our fees. This enables us to complete all checks, and match you with the right nanny or service; as every individual request is different.

Registration/Membership Fee

There is a one off Registration/Membership fee for all of Cocoon’s services which lasts a lifetime should you wish to use our services again. This fee is only charged once and is non refundable once the booking is confirmed.

Lifetime Registration/Membership Fee£150

The membership fee and daily/weekly fees cover the following:

  • Evaluating your needs.
  • Identifying and assessing suitable candidates for you.
  • Checking the identity and information provided by candidates, including visual checks of: references, passports to confirm identity and right to live and work in the UK, stated qualifications and training certificates where available, enhanced DBS checks and First aid certificates. 
  • Introducing candidates who we assess to be suitably qualified and experienced and who meet your preferences and needs.
  • Maintaining an on-going relationship with you to ensure that you remain satisfied with the candidate’s services.
  • Introducing additional candidates if additional or replacement candidates are required. 

We will make an additional charge for either a night nanny or maternity nurse. These charges are payable at the time of booking and must be paid by Credit Card or Bank Transfer.  If you decide you wish to reduce or cancel the booking one month’s notice is required for the cancellation of a Maternity nurse and at least two weeks for a Nanny.  A refund will then be made to your credit card or bank.

Register

All of Cocoon’s team are self employed and liable for their own Tax and National Insurance.  All travel expenses must be reimbursed for all expenses to the interview upon presentation of receipts. 

The Nanny Fees (payable directly to the Nanny)

Night Nanny

Fees vary according to the number of babies the Cocoon Night Nanny is responsible for.  

Single ChildFrom £18 – £28 per hour (depending on experience) payable directly to the nanny
TwinsFrom £27 – £32 per hour (depending on experience) payable directly to the nanny
TripletsFrom £27-£35 per hour (depending on experience) payable directly to the nanny
Other requirementsOn negotiation

Maternity Nurse

Maternity Nurse for a single babyFrom £300-£450 per 24 hours (rate depends on the level of experience of the maternity nurse)

Sleep Consultant

If your baby is over five months old, is on solids and has sleep problems, we have experienced sleep trainers who with just an initial consultation can solve any sleep problems the child may have.  You will then  implement their sleep strategy yourself.

Breast-Feeding Specialist

Initial VisitFrom £150 – £250 for approximately two hours. (rate depends on the level of experience)
Follow up VisitsIf the specialist is required to stay for an additional period then the fees are charged from £30 per hour.

Super Nanny

Initial VisitFrom £150 – £250 for approximately two hours. (rate depends on the level of experience)
Follow up VisitsIf the super nanny is required to stay for an additional period then the fees charged will be from £30 per hour.

Please note – these prices are a guide but each individual expert has their own fee charges.

Public Holidays

Cocoon UK staff will be entitled to charge double time on Public holidays. These include: Good Friday/Easter Day/Christmas Eve/Christmas Day/Boxing Day/New Years Eve/New Years Day
